WHAT IS THE SCALLYWAG SADDLE CLUB?

The Saddle Club is a fantastic new club where you can learn new skills and gain valuable experience around the ponies. You will be supervised at all times by an experienced member of staff.

WHAT WILL YOUR MEMBERSHIP INCLUDE?

You will spend two hours every other Saturday from 2 o'clock to 4 joining in with Kelsey and Lauren doing fun activities involving the ponies and learning about their welfare and how to look after them. You will gradually build up a workbook which will be yours to keep.

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE MEMBERSHIP?

 Annual membership will be £15 and thereafter it will cost £5 each time you attend. This will go towards refreshments, stationery and enable us to maintain the structure needed to run the club to our high standards. You will also be able to buy a fleece top with Scallywag Saddle Club Member embroidered on it. This will be available at a special discounted price and we hope you will wear it proudly.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE SADDLE CLUB?

The Saddle Club will endeavour to encourage confidence and build up new skills which will be invaluable should a child like to progress on to becoming a Pony Club member. Scallywags are proud to announce that we have been accepted as a Pony Club Training Centre (being only the third riding school in Cambridgeshire to be accepted). Before joining the Pony Club each child will need to have some basic skills and knowledge and the Saddle Club would prepare you for this. We feel it would be of special benefit to the especially young or less confident riders.

 WHAT MUST I DO?

You must be well mannered and courteous to others. You must always listen to members of staff and behave in a safe and sensible manner. Above all you must have fun!!!
